Giving the gift of presence:
1) Notice suffering and take initiative.
2) Identify with the sufferer.
3) Give your presence.
- You don't eliminate sorrow, you share it. Sharing sorrow is how you lighten someone's load.
The best gift we can give those struggling is our presence.
