What Is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change.
It doesn’t save you—but it shows that you have been saved. It’s a way of saying, “I’ve put my trust in Jesus, and I’m following Him.”
What Does Baptism Represent?
Baptism is a picture of the gospel:
Going under the water represents Jesus’ death and burial
Coming out of the water represents His resurrection and your new life in Him
It’s a visible declaration that your sins have been forgiven and your life has been made new.
Who Should Be Baptized?
If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior and have not yet been baptized, this step is for you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out—you just need to have placed your faith in Christ and be ready to follow Him.

Jesus calls His followers to be baptized, and He modeled it for us.
