Acts 2:42-47
Intro: The last miracle related to Pentecost was this new group of people becoming an authentic community, a family.
Devoted:

-to give constant attention to one thing
-to be steadfastly attentive too, to give unremitting care to
-to wait on continually, to be in constant readiness for one.
- The early church was devoted to the apostles teaching (the word of God) v42, 43
- The early church was devoted to fellowship. V42, 44-45
A. Common-ism not Communism. - The early church was devoted to the breaking of bread together. V42, 46.
A. Includes both the Lords Supper and normal meals - The early church was devoted to prayer. V42, 47
Summary: Because of their devotion to the things of God, to each other, and to the church, new believers were added to their number day by day.
