Honor in the Church

1. Honor amongst God's family.
-Treat older men as you would a father.
-Treat younger men as you would a younger brother.
-Treat older women as you would a mother.
-Treat younger woman as you would be younger sister.

2. Honor widows and those in need (vs. 3-16)
Guidelines for helping those in need:
-determine responsibility (vs. 3-5, 8, 16)
First responsibility belongs to the family
Secondary responsibility belongs to the church
-filter candidates (vs. 5-6, 9-10)
Younger widows are encouraged to marry (vs. 11-15)
