Passage: Philippians 1

Title: Joy In Relationships
Text: Philippians 1

Notes:

- Joy is not an emotion, mood, or feeling. It’s an attitude that can be defined as a settled state of contentment, confidence, and hope.

1. The foundation of the joy in Paul’s relationship with the Philippians was their fellowship of the gospel.
- God’s good work continues in your life, even when you don’t see it.
2. The result of the joy in Paul’s relationship with the Philippians was a concern for their spiritual maturity.

Spiritual maturity:
- Growth in love
- Growth in knowledge and discernment
- Readiness for the coming of Christ

What does the fellowship of the gospel look like at Restoration Church?
1. Love God - Sunday Worship.
2. Love People - Lifegroups
3. Serve Others - volunteer in ministry
