Text: Philippians 3:1-11

Notes:

Paul’s “religious” advantages:
1. Advantages from birth: circumcised on 8th day, from the people of Israel, from the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews
2. Advantages by choice: A Pharisee, a persecutor of the Church, blameless according to the law

- Jesus plus anything equals nothing.
- Jesus plus nothing equals everything.

Our confidence isn’t dependent on how good or bad we are. Our confidence is in Jesus and what He accomplished for us on the cross.
