You can not control what happens around you. You can only control what happens within you.

- Fight
- Fright
- Flight
or - Faith
Faith worth living requires persevering with patience through our suffering. Remember:
- God is coming (v7)
- God is at work (v7)
- Extend grace & patience toward others (v9)
- God's promises are true (v11)
The Christian life is not made manifest through words or verbal promises. It is made manifest through genuine faith and perservering in patience.
