Text: Daniel 4
Notes:
There’s no place as dangerous as being comfortable and prosperous (v4)
Sovereignty of God: God is ultimately in control of all kingdoms, people, and lives
Enemies of Standing Humbly before God:
- Pride
Your talent, knowledge, and potential mean nothing apart from God’s providence. - Shame
God’s grace in our lives isn’t conditioned on our goodness, but on His goodness and love. - Fear
God redeems and gives greater than what we could ever fear losing.
King Nebuchadnezzar is a reminder that God can change and heal a person’s heart, no matter how hard.
