Title: Courageous Faith
Text: Hebrews 11
Notes:
- Too often we worship the false gods of safety, comfort, and convenience.
- God loves to use courageous, risk-taking fools.
- We insult God with our safe living and small thinking.
Courageous Faith:
1. As long as you have control- you don’t have faith (Hebrews 11:1)
- “Failure is an event, not a person.” -Craig Groeschel
- Faith doesn’t mean you don’t have fear. Faith means you don’t let that fear stop you.
2. You cannot play it safe and please God (Hebrews 11:6)
- Faith isn’t a focus on the outcome we want. Faith is a focus on the faithfulness of God.
