We sing joy to the world because the Lord has come.

The Lord has come:
1) As God in the flesh.
2) So pain and sin don’t have the last word.
    -Verse 3:
    No more let sins and sorrows grow
    Nor thorns infest the ground
    He come to make his blessings flow

3) To reveal God’s love.

    He rules the world with truth and grace
    And makes the nations prove
    The glories of His righteousness
