Passage: Isaiah 9:1–7

Title: Prince of Peace
Text: Isaiah 9:1-7; Luke 2:10-14

Where is the Peace?
Prince (“Sar” Hebrew), noun: One in charge, captain, chief, Lord.
If Jesus is the “Prince of Peace” - then we can’t do whatever we want and expect peace.

Peace (“Shalom” Hebrew), noun: To make complete, wholeness, completeness, the way things are supposed to be.

True peace is given by Jesus (John 14:27).
When we allow Jesus to be “Prince” of our lives - He gives us His peace (Phil. 4:6-7).

The high-cost fo peace: Jesus went to war for you to give you peace (Col. 2:14-15; Isa. 53:5; Eph. 2:13-14; James 4:7-10).

The peace of Jesus is ours when we submit to Jesus as Lord of our life.
