July 4, 2021 Speaker: Kevin Deyette Series: Summer in the Psalms

Passage: Psalm 33:1–22

Text: Psalm 33
Title: Faith and Patriotism

Two types of patriotism.
1) A pride of place, a love for people, and an affection for a country, which is based on the values a nation strives for.
2) An arrogant assumption that a country is better than others, also known as nationalism.

Why do rejoice and praise God?
1) Because He is faithful and trustworthy (Psal. 33:4).
2) Because He is full of love for us (Psa. 33:5).
3) Because He is all-powerful (Psa. 33:6, 9).
4) Because He is sovereign over all things (Psa. 33:10-11).
5) Because He blesses His people (Psa. 33:12).
