Title: Biblically Rooted

"Culture often sells faulty, fantastical maps leading to "the good life", and painting alluring pictures drawing us towards those maps. Too often we stake the expedition of our lives on these maps- setting sail with every sail hoisted. We do so without thinking because these maps work on our imagination and not our intellect. It's not until we are shipwrecked that we realize we trusted the wrong maps" - James Smith. 

Restoration Church Values:
- We love outrageously. 
- We are a gospel people. 
- We are biblically rooted. 

The Bible:
1) Is one story with one central theme- salvation through faith in Jesus.
2) Is God's very words "breathed out" for us. 
3) Coaches us to know God and live a godly life. 
4) Settles our life and identity in Jesus. 

Through Scripture, we are completed and equipped for life and eternity. 

Prioritizing the Word of God: 
1) Consistently read the Bible (Heb. 4:12).
2) Submit to the authority of the Bible (James 1:22). 
3) Surround yourself with people rooted in Scripture.
