Text: Micah 7:1-10
Title: Lament
Lament: An expression of grief/sorrow, to mourn/grieve
Micah's reasons to lament:
1. Dissapearance of righteous people
2. Corruption of leaders
3. Complete social unraveling
Micah does 3 things in his lament:
1. Looks to God
2. Waits on God
3. Trusts in God
Summary: God welcomes our honest lament of our difficulties, but entrusts us to look to Him, wait on Him, and trust in Him.
The first response of Christians when facing hardship shouldn't be strategy or despair- but prayer to God.
What is your biggest burden, anxiety, or difficulty right now?
