God, Justice, and the Kingdom of God

Speaker: Pastor Kevin Deyette
Text: Jeremiah 22:1-9
Title: God, Justice, and the Kingdom of God

Notes:

• Justice is a foundational characteristic of God's character.
• God expects His followers to be concerned with justice.
• Biblical Justice (Mishpat): giving people what they are due- whether punishment, protection or care; doing what is right; treating people fairly; AND looking out for the weak, poor, and disadvantaged.

Message Summary: Justice and mercy flow from God through His followers, bringing a taste of the Kingdom of God.

What brokenness and injustice in the world are you trying to make right?
