1. The struggle of waiting (verse 1)
   1. If we find it difficult to wait, we will find it even more difficult to walk by faith.
2. The Mess of Taking Control (verses 2-6)
   1. When we stop trusting God and start taking matters into our own hands- even our good desires become destructive.
3. The grace of God in our failures (verses 7-16)

Message Summary: God's will done God's way leads to God's blessing. God's will done our way leads to chaos and pain.

Application:

1. Where do you need to wait on the Lord?
2. Where do you need to surrender control to God?
   1. Truth faith begins where self-reliance ends.
3. Where do you need to experience HIS grace, even in your failures?
