Title: Friends Who Lead Us Astray

- "Show me your friends, and I will show you your future."

4 things about unhealthy friends:

1. Misplaced loyalty creates the wrong inner circle (verses 1-3)
   • Shared history does not mean shared values. An emotional connection does not mean a spiritual connection.
2. Unhealthy friends distract you from God's plans (verse 4-5)
   • It's possible to be spiritually sensitive but still standing in a room full of distraction
3. Unhealthy friends avoid, silence, and reject truth (verse 6-27)
4. Unhealthy friends drag you into THEIR consequences (verses 28-34)

Summary: You can't live a Godly life with an ungodly inner circle. Who you keep close shapes who you become.

- If you are serious about walking faithfully with God- you need a couch filled with others walking faithfully with God.

1. Evaluate your inner circle
2. Redefine an unhealthy friendship
