Text: Job 2:11-13

Notes:

1. The Ministry of Presence: They come.
   • Most people disappear when life gets heavy- God’s people draw near
2. The Ministry of Presence: They saw.
   • Look for: Change behavior, isolation, words not matching life, anger that doesn’t make sense, exhaustion, or numbing.
   • Going down into someone’s pain is far more effective to reaching to pull them up.
3. The Ministry of Presence: They sat.
   • Shiva: Your pain is too big for my words- but I’m with you and not going anywhere.

Message Summary: Your presence is often more powerful than your answers.

Application: 

1. Acknowledge your struggle
2. Reframe your instincts
   • Stop waiting to be asked
   • Resist the urge to fix things.
   • Don't pull back when things are long.
