Before naming the threat, name the throne

3. The surprising request: praying for boldness rather than safety

The church was more concerned with faithfulness to the mission than deliverance from hardship

4. The real miracle was their resolved boldness in a hard place

The miracle we should be looking for: Not if our situation changed, but if we were stronger in the middle of the thing we were afraid of

Big Idea / Summary: When we pray for boldness instead of escape, God gives us the power to stay.

Application:

1. Bring your hard place into the room, not just in your head
2. Lead with the character of God, not just your complaint
3. Pray for boldness rather than escape
