Title: Responding to the Resurrection
Text: Romans 10:9-10; Matthew 27:62-66, 28:1-6, 11-15, 19-20
Notes:
What the Resurrection means to you:
- You can be made right with God
- There’s no limit to what God’s power can do in your life
The resurrection is not just doctrine to believe, it’s a reality to live out / display through your life and mouth.
One of the greatest proofs of the resurrection is the fulfilling of the great commission.
Responses to the Resurrection:
- Guards- Unwillingness to confess truth resulting from fear
- Disciples- Willingness to lose everything to proclaim the truth
The Resurrection Response:
- Give up what you cannot keep in order to gain what you cannot lose.
