Passage: 1 Corinthians 9:24–27

Title: Discipline over Regret
Text: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

The choice you make today determines who you become today.

Discipline (verb):
A. To bring a state of order or obedience by training or control.
B. choosing what you want most over what you want now (1 Cor. 9:24-25; Heb. 12:1).

As Christians, we live our lives for an eternal prize.

Choosing discipline over regret:
1. What do you want most?
2. What do you need to choose now to achieve what you want most (1 Cor. 9:26-27)?
Don't run aimlessly, run with purpose.
Walking with purpose on every step, choosing what you want most over what you want now.

Jesus is our strength to choose what we want most over what we want now (Gal. 2:20).
If you don't do something about what you want most, that very likely will become your greatest regret.
