Title: Growing in the Gospel

Text: Colossians 1:9-14

Notes:

We should follow the example of Paul and regularly pray for one another. 

1. Paul's prayer was continual.
2. Paul prayed that they would be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

4 Traits of a life pleasing to the Lord

1. Bearing fruit in every good work.
2. Growing in the knowledge of God.
3. Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might.
4. Joyfully giving thanks to the Father.

4 Principles in praying for others.

1. Pray regularly.
2. Give thanks and praise.
3. Don't just pray for God to "fix things", pray for growth.
4. Pray for spiritual development.
