The Gospel is received by believing in Jesus and receiving what He accomplished for you on the cross. 

The Gospel is the key to living the whole of the Christian life. 

God doesn't love you to the degree that you are good. He loves you to the degree that you are in Christ. 

The power of God doesn't come from trying harder- but believing better in what Christ has done for you.
