What are the central tenets and foundations of your faith?

Elements of the Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4):
1) Jesus (Heb. 4:15).
2) Our sin
“Sin: The elevation of anything other than God to ultimate” Matt Chandler.
3) Jesus’ death for our sin
-Substitutionary Atonement: The doctrine that Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for sinners (2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 8:1).
4) Jesus’ resurrection defeating death and sin.

Assignment: Describe the gospel in 40 words or less.

Example:
Jesus, God in the flesh, died in place of sinners because of His great love and rose from the grave offering eternal and abundant life to those who put their faith in Him.
