Hope That Demands a Verdict

February 25, 2024 Speaker: Kevin Deyette Series: Acts

Passage: Acts 26:1–32

Text: Acts 26:1-32
Title: Hope that Demands a Verdict

People of hope:
1) Have experienced a transformation.
    - Your history doesn't determine your destiny.
2) Encounter the living Jesus.
3) Have a life of purpose.

Summary: Our hope in Jesus should have a marked difference in how well we live our lives.

Hope= a confident expectation of something good based on the promises of God.

Some of God's promises:

  • His sacrifice is sufficient to cover all our sins.
  • We will stand before Him holy, spotless, and blameless.
  • He will supply all our needs according to His glorious purposes.
  • When we are weary and heavy laden, He will give us rest.
  • He is preparing a place for you, with no more tears, sorrow, death, or difficulty.
  • You are perfectly and wonderfully made.
