Paul's vision and calling from God was to testify about Jesus in Rome. 

The goal of our lives is to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world. 

Obstacles to God's vision: 
1) Temptation to settle for a good life. 
2) Giving into discouragement 

Summary: Being faithful to God's vision and calling requires we persevere through temptation and disappointment. 

God often accomplishes His will through people of 2nd chances.
